Next Event on our Band Calendar: Saturday December 9, 2023 – Alaska Celtic Pipes & Drums perform in a Christmas Concert benefiting the Palmer Public Library during the Colony Christmas Weekend at St John’s Lutheran Church, 440 E. Elmwood Drive, in Palmer, Alaska! Concert starts at 3:00pm – Support your local Pipe Band, and help us to support the Palmer Public Library!

The Band meets regularly for weekly practice every Friday 6:30-9pm at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 18444 Old Glenn Hwy in Chugiak (on Old Glenn Hwy between North and South Birchwood Loops) We also meet on Mondays at 7:00pm for a second weekly practice in the Gymnasium at the Palmer Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2338 Inner Springer Loop, in Palmer (on the Glenn Hwy just East of the State Fairgrounds, at Inner Springer Loop.) Lessons are by arrangement, prior to weekly practice at each venue.

Based in Chugiak and the Mat-Su Valley, Alaska Celtic Pipes & Drums are very active in the greater Anchorage area, the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, and throughout South-Central Alaska, and have great fun teaching, performing, and competing, Alaska Celtic Pipes & Drums are prior winners in Pipe Band Competitions at the Alaska Scottish Highland Games, and won 1st place overall for Band events at the Fall 2022 World Online Piping & Drumming Championships! Several members of the Band have won solo awards in Piping and Drumming, both here at home, internationally, and in online competitions!
